Just by the title u could already infer that me jeremy Koh Zi yang of 2G register number 23 did have quite a hectic but fun holiday why? Just read on.
This is my first December holiday in my life in RV and obviously I did every kid do in holidays play and play more. But a difference between me and a kid is that I woke up early to go to school.WHAT!?! going back to school on a holiday who would have thought that. But I went and felt that the decision I made was definitely correct.Entering my CCA's FSD team.RVNCC's Fresstyle drill team has always been one of the best team in NCC HQ.So to me it has been such an honour for me to be selected into the team. The team is led by current yr3 seniors which we're experienced in this competition. We started cheographing our routine. We had so much time but ideas just can't seem to come into our minds. My seniors who were in charge were much more under pressure than my fellow year 2s and i and sometimes we were close to giving up.But our year 4 seniors never quite gave up on us and give us suggestions to improve on our routine motivating us.Soon the team indeed have a very good routine in our minds now and we are confident to win the competition and impress crowds again. Hence throughout this training or even cheographing practices I have learn not only about Freestyle drills also I have further understand the importance of perseverance and motivation. And this might verywell aid me in the future.
And here is us distressing after a practice.(the routine will be shown next time AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)

Well I did went overseas but not with my parents but with national cadet corps HQ.It was an adventure camp in gopeng,Malaysia held by the HQ. Well it was a rare opportunity for a junior cadet(yr1) to have an overseas opportunity so I did not really hesitated to take up the opportunity with my friend Qi ting. But due to some problems NCC HQ change the dates of the camp and Qi ting unfortunately couldn't make it. Hence I was the only one from RV going there.Previously I was scared I would be kind of left out in the camp as I did know anyone. There were another 79 more cadets across the nation which went with me.Luckily I wasn't left out as friends are made almost immediately. We shared our NCC life on the bus and always wanna boast how many pumpings we can do. It was kinda childish but what is more important is that everybody has a smile on their faces from the start of the journey to the end.Well the camp can only be described by a word AWESOME. The activities plan is so interesting, as most of them I haven't did them before.White water rafting, cave exploration, high elements on natural ground.first of all WHITE WATER RAFTING!!!!Forming steam with another 4 more cadets we survived the fast water currents rocky areas and a lake which took us 3hrs to complete TOGETHER. We put in so much effort to make it through and after we came on shore we were completely drained no even an ounce of energy left. But that sense of satisfaction is the most memorable part. Another cool thing I did there is natural high elements.NATURAL HIGH ELEMENTS.It isn't built on man made wood or metal stuff is built on trees mountains and the most natural things on earth eg. Mosquitos (I basically lost a lot of blood there).OH MY THAT THRILL WHEN WE ARE TRYING to put the clip on the string how the only line of support I shaking rapidly. THAT WAS JUST TOO FABULOUS. WEEEEEE AND WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE the on,y sound I could make thought the high element programme. but all this won't happen because of NCC HQ and also because of my friends which made my trip the best. so camaraderie is what I have picked up over here.
Here is the photo of the irritating cat that steals my food
During the holidays I had a chance to go for the facil interview and I passed.I was so happy when I passed because there was over 200plus applicants and I was one of the lucky 50 to get chosen to be a facilitator for the orientation 14.It was my first time being a facilitator I was prepared to face all odds because I went through trainings during the holidays. The trainings are really tough but enriching I could very well say I became I much more different person after the training. Not becoming a more high person or more crazy person but instead I learn to be a person who put's other people's interest in me and being more aware of my surroundings last but not least to lead.I have picked a lot of skills from my facilitating experience like the ability to observe in detail. The most memorable part of the whole facil training is when we facils had time to bond like ice breaker games debrief period dry runs. Through those small little periods I have mad more friends and was part of the facil family something that is very meaningful
My facil grp mates
LAST but not least I spend a lot of my time in holidays getting fit doing homework and spend time with my family and friends which is definitely important because if a person only knows how to study and do not care about his loved ones right? Also I started watching pewdiepie's videos which always kept me happy throughout the holidays. Ahahahahahahaha.
so that is my December holiday 2013 quite a busy one and fun one MAOOOOOOOOO
